About Our Home Care Aides

We are an equal opportunity employer. We are a drug free and smoke free establishment. We will employ home care aides (HCA’s) with excellent qualifications and references. HCA’s must have a valid driver’s license, or picture ID which we will attach to their applications. HCA’s will be required to submit to a drug screen and background, nurse/nurse aide registry check, sex offender check and a reference check before they are placed in a client’s home and that documentation will be in their file. HCA’s will attend an employee orientation where they will be informed of their responsibilities and our expectations. HCA’s will attend training sessions at our office regarding correct client procedures at specified intervals. Documentation of all HCA training is maintained by Elder Care of North Alabama, LLC HCA’s will agree to provide services for the clients to which they are assigned while maintaining a reputable demeanor with which to uphold the business of Elder Care. HCA’s will be clean and neat in accordance with the professional position of home care aide for Elder Care. HCA’s will be on time getting to their jobs and maintain a timesheet with all required information filled in. HCA’s will give us proper notice if they are unable to work their scheduled services. In the event of an emergency need by a client, we will have on call HCA’s ready to cover all your needs. HCA’s will be notified if a client lodges a complaint against them and after an investigation; a corrective action will be taken. HCA’s will render all in home services with the best of their ability always remembering that the comfort and needs of the client are of the utmost importance.
